Move to your Groove
Sometimes we must first start with the body in order to go deeper within. Yoga includes various poses, and different practices can range anywhere between one body posture to a series of body movements. Since every body is different, we must listen to our bodies as we strive for steadiness and comfort in each pose. We honor our bodies by experimenting with multiple variations and prop-use to enhance our experience so that we are always feeling the positive sensations that are intended in our practice. Whether it’s the faster flow of Vinyasa or slower gentler holds in Restorative, yoga’s postures are designed to improve our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Slow your Roll
The art of meditation and mindfulness is essential in our practice to help calm the mind & nervous system, develop self awareness, strengthen our concentration, and even connect to the divine universe! We practice mindfulness by planting seeds of intention throughout our yoga practice. When we continuously bring our intention to the forefront of our minds, we find that we can expand that intention into our every day lives with more ease. This in turn helps us to live our lives with more meaning and happiness. You can incorporate meditation & mindfulness through breathing, moving, relaxing, or even in your regular worship. No matter how we choose to incorporate meditation techniques into our yoga practice , exploring our minds and bodies with intention brings us closer to our best selves and our higher power.
SERVICES
Classes
Start your yoga journey by joining my small to mid-size group classes for active movement and mindfulness within yoga and meditation. These classes will be offered as both online and in-person class options.
One of the most healing things about yoga is the sense of community that it builds. Now more than ever people need to connect with others, and we need a safe space to do so. I believe in having an engaging class environment that harnesses this sense of community through our one common goal: to be hopeful.
Workshops
Coming soon - Yoga isn’t just about going through the motions.. It’s also about discovering how to become our best selves. Workshops offer the opportunity to hyper-focus on particular spiritual, emotional, and physical topics that allow us to discover more about ourselves and how to interpret the world around us.
Corporate
Work is where we spend a majority of our time and energy, and it is often the root to a lot of stress and health issues. Right now, burnout is at an all-time high. Employers who invest in their employees well-being develop a more thriving work environment and culture that can lead to employees who are more motivated, productive, and overall healthier & happier! This in turn increases retention rates, decreases turnover, improves performance, and in the long-run can even lower many costs to the company.
Yoga offers us tools to manage stress and improve our physical, mental and emotional health. Bring yoga classes to the office! Contact us directly for more information.
